About Layrite

Layrite was founded in 1999 by American barber Donnie Hawley, who created a water-soluble pomade that “holds like wax and washes out like gel” to solve the problems of traditional petroleum-based products. Since then, Layrite has grown into a premium men’s grooming brand offering styling, wash and shave products designed to deliver reliable performance and easily maintainable results for barbers and clients alike.
