Join us for an epic educational night with global Wahl educator John Carmona as he shares his signature cutting techniques.
John Carmona, known as Titan Barber, grew up in a small Florida town. He started his career in 2009 as a hairdresser and colorist, and soon began teaching in his home state, sharing his expertise in hair color and cutting techniques. Over time, he transitioned from salons to barbershops, where he also embraced photography to showcase his work. His growing reputation attracted attention from show organizers and companies, allowing him to build a following and present on stages worldwide. His salon background gave him a unique edge in the barbering community, opening doors to share his knowledge. Now, John co-owns three barbershops in Denver with his business partner Eric Fuller. In addition to serving their local community, he also travels to educate for Wahl Professional, Hattori Hanzo, and other independent ventures. John believes this is just the start, constantly evolving to offer something new to both barbers and hairstylists.
John has appeared on stages all over the world teaching his craft, especially for Wahl Professional. He is a key member of the Wahl Future Makers Program, and is responsible for developing some of the iconic haircuts from the program. He is a Behind the Chair One Shot Award winner and was named Modern Salons Barber of the Year in 2019. Carmona’s mission statement: learn how to cut hair and not how to do a haircut. "
